Thank you Scott, Trumka's words of "independence" sounds great; however it seems to lack the force of a permanent coalition body to enable greater empowerment to labor's independence and for all within the broad coalition to whichTrumka speaks. Also: if Trumka under the banner of the AFL-CIO, aims to /to build toward an independent third party, why not summit with the coalition forces to initiate discussion around a program that builds toward that end. Not having access to his overall vision, any clarification offered here is welcomed. Thank you.
