After being booted from the corporate world for promoting ethical business practices, Jessica went back to university to focus on English literature, education, and gender studies. Her activism began with anti-racism curriculum in a local school district where she coordinates an after-school program which is currently facing the brunt of right-wing budget cuts. She enjoys reading, hiking, and being a general smart aleck whenever possible.
